Vertical Panel Saw
Safety Speed Cut Manufacturing unveiled the company's new model ES-5 vertical panel saw at the recent AWFS Woodworking Fair in Anaheim, CA. The model ES-5 is the company's first product with X and Y axis movement in the saw blade and motor, thus eliminating the need to move the panel through the horizontal (rip) cut. The machine has a crosscut of 61" and can rip in excess of 10' while cutting through panels up to 2 1/8" thick. The ES-5 comes equipped with a single-phase 3 hp induction motor, integrated dust venting, Midway Fence™, and Quick Stop™ as standard equipment. Available options include scoring unit, dust collector, and three-phase power.
