Ensinger/Penn Fibre is stocking 2’ x 4’ sheets of ULTEM® in thicknesses of .040”, .062”, .093” and .125”. ULTEM® 1000, is an excellent choice for continuous use in hot water (300°F) applications. Parts that are easily fabricated from ULTEM can endure repeated autoclaving (steam sterilization) cycles. ULTEM is typically used in (but not limited to) medical and electronic/electrical applications. It offers excellent resistance to both GAMMA and Ultraviolet radiation. ULTEM also retains a greater portion of its tensile strength at elevated temperatures. Several glass filled grades are available on a custom basis.
