Anti-fog Treatment for Plastic

TSP, Inc. has introduced a new anti-fog coating for polycarbonate sheet that provides superior longevity and durability. The proprietary new coating, DURAVUEŽ AF, solves the problems that have plagued other anti-fog applications for plastics. Traditionally the applications only worked temporarily and were not durable enough to withstand repeated uses without scratching or rubbing off over time.

DURAVUEŽ AF solves this problem by providing clear visibility in some of the more extreme humidity conditions, such as for shower mirrors and recreational faceshields, while being durable enough to be handled and wiped clean when either dry or wet without scratching or destroying the coating. "We have been in the coating business for close to two decades, and this is the best anti-fog coating we have seen, and the only one we found worthy of the DURAVUE name," said Stuart Newman, President and General Manager of TSP.

Currently only available on polycarbonate, DURAVUEŽ AF can be applied to any thickness in sheet sizes up to 48" x 96". An added feature is its flexibility on thinner gauge material, and its potential formability (depending on the amount of draw).
