Large Diameter Pressure Rated Polypropylene
George Fischer, Inc. introduced a complete range of large diameter drainage fittings for its Beta (B) Polypropylene and SYGEF PVDF Piping Systems. Featuring a variety of styles including lateral wyes, tees and P-Traps in sizes up 12 inches (315mm), the fittings are pressure rated to 75 psi, providing an ideal solution for applications with pressurized drainage requirements. Beta Polypropylene offers an exceptionally homogeneous, fine structure with high impact strength and excellent resistance to a variety of chemicals, making it suitable for handling caustics, acids and solvents. SYGEF PVDF is a high-strength Fluoropolymer suitable for concentrated acids and aggressive media.

The joining process uses the George Fischer WM 315 Butt Fusion Welding Machine system. Fittings are butt-welded using hydraulic controlled machines at the factory per customer order, allowing fabrication of special configurations to meet individual requirements. The butt-fused process assures strong weld integrity while providing a complete "off the shelf" product to the customer for faster and more cost-effective installations.
