HIGH SPEED CUTTING

IBAG offers a wide range of spindles, up to 120,000 rpm, up to 125 hp, with steel, ceramic or magnetic bearings. Their high speed spindles permit users to go from rough milling to a precisely contoured and finished mold, die, electrode or component many times faster than with conventional spindles, reducing or even eliminating secondary operations.

Their spindles and spindle systems can be integrated into a wide range of vertical machining centers. An IBAG spindle appropriate to the application is installed in accordance with the machine's specific configuration, ATC requirements and related guidelines. Integration includes marriage of either the machine's own CNC system or a supplied CNC system developed especially for high speed machining operations.

In addition, they offer the Vac-Mat, a unique vacuum operated workholding system designed to clamp flat workpieces. A patented plastic mat containing a series of large and small suction cups, the Witte Vac-Mat allows conventional or high speed machining to be done into the surface of the mat, allowing complete part cutting without secondary operations.
