Curbell Plastics, Inc., one of the nation’s premier suppliers of plastic sheet, rod, tube, film, adhesives, sealants, and prototyping materials, recently named Röchling Engineering Plasticsas its 2017 Supplier of the Year. Precision Drive Systems (PDS), a global provider of high-speed precision spindle motors, support and spindle repair headquartered in Bessemer City, NC, has announced the promotion of Calvin Stiles to National Sales Manager. Stiles’ previous title was Market Development Manager. In his new capacity, he will oversee the company’s North American marketing program, marketing analyses, strategic planning and coordination of sales efforts.

“With more than 20 years of experience in the CNC industry, Calvin Stiles is an ideal choice to address Precision Drive Systems’ ability to repair any spindle make or model,” said Bob Barone, Vice President of Precision Drive Systems. “Calvin possesses a tremendous breadth of knowledge regarding machining, processing and application projects. He understands how unique PDS’ capabilities are in the marketplace and how best to leverage those assets in the company’s messaging strategy.”

Steven Malm has been named chief executive officer by the Board of Directors of NIBCO INC. Malm continues to serve as president and a member of the board. Rex Martin remains as chairman of the board, a position he has held since 1995.

“Steve's vast industry knowledge, extensive global sales and marketing experience, and astute business acumen, make him an excellent leader for NIBCO and fully qualified for the role,” said Rex Martin in announcing Malm’s appointment.

The Board of Directors of NIBCO INC. has also announced the appointment of Ashley Martin to the Executive Leadership Team and as an officer of the Board of Directors. She continues her responsibilities as senior vice president of Sales, overseeing Wholesale Sales, Retail and Specialty Sales. Martin has held a variety of positions since joining NIBCO in 2012.

Biesse Group’s strong growth in the North America market has served as a catalyst for expanding their Human Resources Department to better support their employees and elevate their recruiting efforts. Michelle Landry, who has served as Biesse Group’s North America Human Resources Manager for over 15 years, has accepted the new position of North America Corporate Recruiting Manager and Elizabeth Valentin has joined their team as North America Human Resources Manager.
