Every business has heavy equipment in some form – machinery, manufacturing tables, etc. Every now and again, these heavy items need to be moved. For some businesses, these heavy items need to be moved quite often. Fork trucks, cranes, disassembly and reassembly, and other techniques are employed to maneuver heavy items. These techniques can be time consuming and costly but now there is a better way.

Fluoro-Slide pieces can be placed under any heavy equipment. The Fluoro-Slide material has the lowest coefficient of static friction of any solid material (0.04). This coefficient is much lower than polyethylene, which ranges from 0.18 to 0.22. When adhered to the bottom of your equipment, Fluoro-Slide allows your product to slide across the floor with a small fraction of the effort.

For example, a one-ton manufacturing table needed to be moved following the reorganization of a manufacturing plant. This job would have been nearly impossible with the amount of manpower the plant had available. But once pieces of Fluoro-Slide were placed under each leg, the one-ton table could be slid across the room with only four men.
