FM 4910 Approved Materials

Westlake Plastics Company announced the immediate availability of a complete line of approved sheet products meeting the Factory Mutual FM 4910 specification. The Westlake Plastics FM 4910 line includes Halar® (ECTFE) ranging in thickness from 1/8” - 2-1/2”; Kynar® (PVDF) in thickness from 1/8” - 4”; Corzan® II (PVC-C) in thickness 1/8” to 2” and HTP800 (clear CPVC) in thickness of 3 mm to 25 mm. A large inventory of thickness ranges in each material will be carried as standard stock 48” x 96” sheets. Additional FM 4910 approved materials available on a custom basis are: 1000HD; Kynar 2850; Hylar® MP-20; HTP800 White CPVC and HTP800 Ivory CPVC. Non-standard sizes and thicknesses can be manufactured on a custom run basis. Westlake Plastics is also in the final stages of FM 4910 approval for UV filter-ing in Yellow and Orange tints in HTP800 CPVC.

Also, completion of the FM 4910 approval for HTP800 clear material with a static dissipative coating is expected to be received shortly. This static dissipative material with be available exclusively through SciCron Technologies, Amarillo, Texas.
