Acetal Tubular Bar

Natural co-polymer acetal tubular bar is now available from stock at ZL engineering plastics. Fabricators no longer have to waste valuable time and material machining away the inside of natural acetal rod for bearings and bushings. ZL™ 900 Natural Acetal tubular bar is available in ODs from 25mm to 260mm (approx. 1” to 10”) and IDs from 15mm to 190mm (approx. 19/32” to 7.5”) in lengths of 3,000mm (approx. 120”).

Parts machined from acetal tubular bar offer low water absorption for excellent dimensional stability in many environments. Acetal is typically used when application temperatures are below 180°F, high strength and stiffness, parts with close tolerances or moderate wear resistance in a wet environment is required. In addition to use as bearing and bushings, acetal is a popular material choice for gears, material handling equipment parts, electronic/ electronic components and parts found in pump assemblies.
