IWF 2004 Booth Sales Reflect Industry Optimism
Exhibitor booth space sales for the 2004 International
Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair –
USA® (IWF) have steadily expanded during the summer
months. The largest tradeshow of its kind in the Western
Hemisphere, IWF 2004 will take place August 26-29,
2004 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta,
Georgia. “This year’s economic indicators are showing
positive trends proving the economic recovery is well
established. In turn, this has created an increased
demand for capital equipment, software, tooling and supplies,”
commented David Rothwell, IWF 2004 Chairman
and Executive Vice President of Stiles Machinery Inc.
“Since August 1 alone, 37 additional companies have con-tracted
to exhibit at IWF 2004.”
“Among the more than 1,000 exhibitors already on board,
70 are new companies which will be exhibiting at IWF 2004
for the first time, and 14 companies are returning to exhibit
after missing IWF 2002. These companies carry products
ranging from CNC machinery to veneers to adhesives, which
will give customers even more new technology, products and
services to examine and compare,” Rothwell continued.
IWF brings together the most advanced technology
available to the marketplace and hosts buying teams from
around the world representing a wide range of industries.
Customers from industries involving plastics, composite
materials, solid surfaces and aerospace also attend IWF
because it encompasses the technology that can help
them make their companies more efficient, more productive
and more competitive in the global marketplace.
