Turcite Shapes

Professional Plastics has recently become a Master Distributor of Turcite® shapes. Turcite ® is a self-lubricating thermoplastic bearing material manufactured by Polymer Sealing Solutions.

Turcite® is available from stock in two grades, Turcite A, and Turcite X. Both materials are cost effective, chemically resistant, and are suitable for a wide range of applications where self-lubrication is necessary. Its superior wear-resistant properties make Turcite an excellent material choice for bearings, bushings and seals. The material exhibits excellent moisture resistance and performs well under load.

Turcite is available from stock in two grades, Turcite A and Turcite X. Both materials are chemically resistant and naturally lubricated. Turcite A (pictured) is suitable for moderate to heavy loads at moderate speeds. It performs well under vibratory and dynamic loading and is easily machinable. Turcite A has higher wear resistance than Turcite X. Turcite X, which is red in color, excels in low load and high speed applications. It has low thermal expansion properties and lower friction properties than Turcite A. Both materials have a maximum service temperature of 180 F.
