Haas Automation, Inc., the largest CNC machine tool manufacturer in the United States,has announced the appointment of John Roth as Director of Sales and Peter Hall as Managing Director of Haas Automation Europe.

Cast Nylons Ltd. announced the appointment of Brian Lloyd as their Technical Sales Engineer for the Western Region of the US and Western Canada. Prior to joining Cast Nylons Ltd., Lloyd was a Technical Sales Representative for Westlake Plastics Company. His previous experience includes an extensive background in the application of plastics and composites in dynamic environments. His efforts will focus on distributor support and OEM/MRO specification of Cast Nylons’ products.
Cast Nylons also recognized five individuals celebrating 20 years of service. Dan Dhondt, Casting; Jack Thorp, President; Traci Deiner, Inside Sales Manager; Jim Kunsman, Spin Cast Lead and Lester Jones, Casting.

STANMECH Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of David Warren as Technical Sales Representative in their Burlington office. Warren has a broad sales background in industrial applications across many different industries. Warren will be responsible for the food & beverage, medical, pharmaceutical and automotive markets across Canada for all product lines.

Coyote Plastics announced that Eddy, in addition to earning his Master’s Degree in “Upside Down” print reading last year, recently completed the Coyote Plastics course on “Sincerity” and graduated with honors. As a result of these achievements, the Bossman has promoted Eddy to Director of Blue Prints. In his new position as Director of Blue Prints, Eddy will be available to speak at product seminars for machine shops, as long as the machine shops are willing to turn over their customer list to Eddy, when the seminar’s over.

Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products announced the appointment of Brian Brandt to cover the Southeastern US sales territory. Brandt joins Quadrant after recently establishing his own Manufacturer’s Representative firm, Plastic Engineering Solutions. He replaces Tom Bruning, who has been appointed to an international position within Quadrant, reporting to Glen Steady, President of Quadrant EPP USA.

Solvay Solexis named Ray Bastnagel Global Marketing Manager for Semiconductors. Bastnagel is responsible for the expansion of Solvay Solexis fluoroproduct sales and marketing presence in the semiconductor industry.

Giben America, Inc. announced that Allan Dziwoki has rejoined the company after a three-year absence. In his new role as Operations Manager, Dziwoki will manage four key depart-ments for Giben; customer support, sales support, spare parts and logistics. Also, Jessica Clark has joined the service department as Technical Service Administrator.

AIN Plastics, a leading supplier of semi-finished plastics, announced the following recent promotions and new hires in the company’s Northeast Business Unit: Paul Ewing has been appointed Business Development Manager Sheet Products, responsible for Northeast region; Bill Shields has been appointed to the position of Business Development Manager Mechanical Plastics, responsible for Northeast region; Richard Nye has been promoted to Inside Sales Manager, responsible for the Mount Vernon, NY, location and Terry L. Tewell has joined the company as Sales Manager for the Lancaster, PA sales office. Plastics Unlimited of New England announced the addition of Bill Poznik and Richard Morse as Outside Sales Reps. Each brings unique sales experience to the growing sales force.

Lehigh Valley Plastics, Inc., a national fabricator and distributor of plastic products, has added two new members to its professional staff. Mike Stanbery has joined the company as Territory Manager for Arkansas and the surrounding region (LA, MS, TN, MO, OK). John C. Nothelfer has been appointed Plant Manager overseeing the production and engineering departments.

ATOFINA Petrochemicals, Inc. announced the appointment of Robert (Rob) Maes as Polystyrene Northern Regional Sales Manager. Previously Maes was Marketing Manager – Film for ATOFINA’s polyethylene business unit. Gregory DeKunder has been named Marketing Manager, Film, for ATOFINA Petrochemicals’ polyethylene business. International Plastics, Bainbridge Island, WA has promoted Jeff Bruchs to Vice President and Jean Morris has been hired as Office Manager at the Washington location. At their California location, Robert Washington has been hired as Manager and Eric Vera has joined to assist in the warehouse, shipping and receiving.

Gareth McGrath has joined the performance materials division of Gentex Corporation as European Business Development Manager for the company’s patented Clearweld® process for laser welding plastics.

Following the sudden death of Scott Davidson, Chairman and CEO of Lucite International in March, the Board of Directors and the senior team announced the following changes: Geoffrey J. Arbuthnott, currently non executive director of Lucite International Limited, will assume the position of Chairman of the Board; Ian R. Lambert, currently the CFO, will assume the position of CEO and Robert Dunkley, currently Legal Affairs Manager will assume the position of Company Secretary.
