Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products has named Edward Wikar to be a business development representative

Hartwell Associates, Inc. announced that Nik Taritas has joined their Manufacturer's Rep Agency, calling on accounts in IL, MN, WI, IA, NE, KS, MO, ND and SD.

IPS Corporation, manufacturers of WELD-ON plastic adhesives and cements, announced the appointment of Sales West Plastics and Davis Marketing Associates as their new manufacturers’ sales representatives. Dennis Johnson of Sales West Plastics will be covering the territories of Southern California and Hawaii in addition to continuing coverage of Northern California and Nevada. Ken Davis and Ron Nowak of Davis Marketing will be covering the Mid-Atlantic and New England states.

Cast Nylons Limited announced the selection of Darin Sherry as Technical Sales Engineer. Sherry will cover the Northeast and OH, IN, MI and KY.

Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products has named Edward Wikar to Business Development Representative. Wikar is responsible for sales and market development of Quadrant's high performance plastic products in the New England states, as well as NY, NJ and eastern PA.

Interstate Plastics announced the addition of Robert Blackwood as Manager of Plastic Machining Company, a division of Interstate Plastics in Portland, OR. Interstate has also hired Tim Inman as a Resident Sales Rep in Portland to develop the distribution sales of basic shapes.

ATOFINA Petrochemicals, Inc. announced that Scott McEwen has been made Vice President of Polypropylene. ATOFINA also announced that Phillip B. Carruthers has been named Vice President Styrenics and President of FINA Technologies, Inc. Previously Carruthers was Vice President Polypropylene.

Kopper Polymer Industries, has opened new distribution warehouse in Sparks, NV that will service 11 western states. Steven Kopper will be managing the West Coast operation. The distribution center will stock HDPE, Polypro, and UHMW sheet and rod, as well as Canvas Phenolic Sheet. It will also have cut-to-size capabilities.

Gibraltar Plastic Products announced the addition of Erin Taggart to its sales staff as Account Executive for its custom manufactured acrylic store fixtures and displays.

Ensinger, Inc. announced the following appointments: Bob Racchini as Vice President and CFO of Ensinger Industries; James L. Jones as Territory Manager of Ensinger-Hyde's Western Business Unit responsible for outside sales in OR and WA; and Timothy N. Rose as Territory Manager of Northern California.

Merchandising Inventives, Inc. announced the addition of Kathy Goldman to its Sales Department.

Reynolds Polymer Technology, Inc., manufacturer of R-CastÔ high performance cast acrylic sheets, blocks, rods and tubes, has made significant changes on everything from their logo, tagline and masking, to expanding their business development and marketing staff.

"In keeping with our motto, ‘Way Beyond Ordinary,’ Reynolds Polymer Technology, Inc. will continue to deliver innovative products, services and engineering solutions," states Roger Reynolds III, CEO of Reynolds Polymer Technology.

Two new positions were recently created to help facilitate these changes. Mark Johnson was hired as Vice President of Business Development and Sheri Eisenhauer was hired as Director of Marketing.

Patrick Pheffer joins ZL Engineering Plastics as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, a new company formed by Zell-Metall GmbH and Licharz, Inc.

The DVS hot gas hand and extrusion welder training recently held by SKZ at Wegener North America received a lot of praise by the participants. Even experienced welders added valuable information to their knowledge and passing the test was no walk in the park. Each two-week course was condensed into one and everybody worked very hard to accomplish the goal.
