Strip Heater
The Finish Cut Inc. introduced a new factory produced Strip-Heater. The unit features a self contained water tank. For safety, the water pump is switched on before the element; if the water pump is off, the element is turned off automatically. At about 100 pounds the unit can be easily moved. It features a quick gap setting feature that sets the middle gap from 1/4”to 1 1/2” in less than 1 minute with no tools. Water runs through the top inch at the gap on each side keeping the plastic at just the right temperature and allowing a clean straight bend up to 48 inches in length. The frame is 1” steel tube, powder coated for long life and the critical table area is made of anodized aluminum for durability. It runs on 220 single phase and only draws 6.5 amps.
