Knife Grinder
Colonial Saw has introduced the new automatic knife grinder from MVM which is specifically designed to address the grinding needs of plastic granulator knives. With a 4 hp grinding motor and 6-inch grinding wheel, Model ZX 1000 will grind knives up to 41.9 inches. It features a mechanical t-groove chuck, automatic head travel, a tilting table from 0 to 90°, and a heavy flood coolant system with static magnetic filter. Standard accessories include a heavy-duty machine stand and step blocks for overlapping up to 4 planer knives. An optional magnetic chuck is available.
