Polyurethane Adhesive

WELD-ON 55®, and its faster-setting counterpart WELD-ON 58®, provide crystal clear, high strength bonds on polycarbonate. They also bond a variety of other thermoplastics used in signage and other plastic fabrication applications.

They offer strong bonds, high shear strength, and resistance to flex and impact stresses. The adhesives are clear and colorless providing crystal clear bonds and no discoloration from UV light.

Recommended substrates include polycarbonate, PETG, PVC, butyrate, polyurethane, ABS, and foam board.

WELD-ON 55 has a working time of 10 minutes and is tack free in one hour versus WELD-ON 58 at two minutes and 30 minutes respectively.

The adhesives offer a one-year shelf life, are water white with a specific gravity of 1.14 and viscosity of 3000-4000 cps.
