Solid Lubricant Cast Nylon
Nylatech® SL contains a proprietary solid lubricant which offers a lower dynamic coefficient of friction and superior wear resistance when compared to other grades of Cast Nylon. It can be used for sliding applications where external lubrication is difficult or impossible. Providing in excess of five times longer part life than other lubricated materials, Nylatech® SL offers significant savings in machine maintenance and down time costs. It also provides added assurance of part life in demanding friction applications.

Material benefits include a low dynamic coefficient of friction (.08 - 0.14), high PV value (15,000), high wear resistance, it is easily machined, and a cost savings from reduced downtime and maintenance. Typical applications include; wear strips, bearings/bushings, abrasion pads, rollers, guide rails, star wheels, and valve seats.
