Evonik Names Modern Key Distributor
Evonik Degussa Corporation has named Modern Plastics as their distributor of its VESTAKEEP¨ Medical PEEK (polyetheretherketone). Under the agreement, Modern Plastics will market, sell and distribute the full line of VESTAKEEP Medical products designed for short-term contact and permanent implant medical devices and applications throughout the United States and Canada.

Key benefits of this agreement to the customer include access to a large inventory of VESTAKEEP medical products through Modern Plastics and reliance on fast delivery, complete with ISO certified processes. Modern Plastics experience in the handling and distribution of medical grade plastics is conducted to extraordinary levels beginning with strict ISO policies and procedures with regard to product lot and batch control, individual plastic material barcoding and detailed material certifications per ISO standards.

The agreement covers VESTAKEEP medical products including implant grade powder, implant grade resin, multiple diameter stock shapes in one and three meter lengths and other stock shapes for consideration. All VESTAKEEP M-Grade and I-Grade PEEK polymers are manufactured to meet ASTM F2026 specification and are produced and extensively tested to meet ISO-10993 requirements.
