Superior Light Transmission

Evonik Cyro, LLC, a leading innovator of acrylic sheet products, launched ACRYLITEŽ EndLighten T acrylic sheet at the HD Expo. This edge-lit crystal-clear acrylic sheet provides lighting architects, lighting designers, office and hospitality environment designers and lighting consultants with a very cost-effective solution for various transparent and non-transparent applications including architecture and design, illuminated panels, slim-profile signage, fixtures and large-scale luminous displays.

The material contains specially optimized diffuser particles that deflect light rays much more effectively than conventional diffuser particles. This design technique not only delivers excellent light transmission across the entire surface, it reduces energy costs because it maximizes the LEDs. Endlighten T requires less LEDs to transmit light and can be even edge lit on only one side. It is 250% brighter in transparent applications than comparable materials, as it shows no clouding and emits light at a much more vertical angle to the surface.

The material is ideal for designs that require even illumination on a transparent surface using LEDs. When EndLighten T is used, the surface glows in the same color as the chosen LED. If no light is fed, the material offers a clear view without disturbing optical effects caused by clouding, halftone printing or inscribed textures. The sheet is also extremely well suited for non-transparent applications. It can be used for very slim, largescale luminous displays and picture frames, luminous ceilings and walls, citylight posters and similar uses.

The sheet comes in four grades ranging from SM to XXL. For optimum and uniform luminous efficiency, the suitable grade for the desired illuminated area should be used.
