IR Reflective Acrylic

Lucite International announced the latest addition to its LuciteLux™ products line - EcoShade IR reflective continuous cast acrylic sheet – plus they have added a new a color and thickness options to the LuciteLux Frost line.

Manufactured in Memphis, Tennessee, EcoShade IR reflective acrylic sheet offers architects and designers a fresh and revolutionary new product that helps conserve energy by reflecting more than 75 percent of the infrared radiation present in sunlight. This groundbreaking, energy- saving technology means EcoShade will effectively reduce heat transmitted through windows and skylights in the summer, as well as reduce heat loss in the winter.

EcoShade is also aesthetically pleasing. It has a unique iridescent quality in which the product transforms from serene blue to glistening gold based on the angle of view and surrounding light, offering both a modern, yet calming compliment to fashion and design applications.

The innovative component in EcoShade is distributed uniformly throughout to ensure it will not heat or form out of the sheet. EcoShade is available in two thicknesses – .118 and .117.

The new color is contemporary Midnight Black plus Polar White is now offered in two new thicknesses of .315 and .472.

In addition to the new options with Midnight Black and Polar White, the extensive LuciteLux Frost line includes 15 other exciting color choices available in the U.S., in the Vivid, Urban and Hot color ranges.

Aesthetically, LuciteLux Frost offers a cool, frosted surface with a modern, contemporary appeal. It resists surface marks and scratching, and is easy to cut, join and fabricate, and retains its frosted texture after thermoforming no matter what color of thickness is used.

LuciteLux Frost can be used in a myriad of applications from P.O.P. and retail display units to interior signs, fittings and furnishings.
