Hot-air Welding Tool

Leister Process Technologies announced the release of the TRIAC BT hot-air welding tool, available for purchase in North America in March. This latest addition to the TRIAC line of hand tools offers an economical alternative to similar devices, and is specifically designed for indoor plastic fabrication applications.

The TRIAC BT comes in a sturdy carrying case that contains additional accessories for the plastic fabrication professional, including three rapid-welding nozzles and a replacement heating element. Weighing only 2.2 pounds, it is the most lightweight device in its class, making it easy to handle and comfortable to control. In addition, soft sections on its two-component handle help ensure a firm grip.

The TRIAC BT has intuitive controls, such as a rotary switch that allows users to easily regulate temperature and has a safety feature that signals the user if the power supply has been interrupted.
