Fluoropolymers in Action

SPOTLIGHT, Volume 20 No.1, the periodical published by Arkema Inc, contains a selected group of case history articles, reprinted from leading industrial publications that serve the chemical, pharmaceutical and related process industries.

The articles cover the use of KYNAR® PVDF polyvinylidene fluoride pipes, valves, pumps, storage tanks and other fluid handling equipment for the storage and transfer of corrosive and hazardous chemicals.

The articles describe installations as diverse as piping for a pulp mill, an underground fluid handling system for transferring de-ionized water and alcohol needed to preserve 22 million artifacts for the Chicago Field Museum, the lining of a 56,000 pound, 70 foot tall, 27 foot diameter bromine scrubber and molded tower-packing for use in a chlorine scrubber.
