Bayer Films Americas, a Division of Sheffield Plastics Inc., has released two new interactive CDs featuring their extensive offering of Makrofol® polycarbonate and Bayfol® polycarbonate blend film products. The Products and Applications CD and the Films Selection Guide CD provide users with detailed information that will help them choose the best Bayer film product for their specific application.

Makrofol and Bayfol provide outstanding stability and durability with lot-to-lot consistency for a wide variety of applications and are manufactured to the strictest quality standards in ISO-9001: 2000 certified facilities.

The Products and Applications CD is an interactive teaching on the Makrofol and Bayfol product lines and features a wide variety of applications in which they are used. The disc is organized into three easy-to-follow parts - product overview, a discussion of nomenclature and application examples. Bayer polycarbonate films offer extraordinary features - including graphic arts quality and printability, light diffusion capabilities, heat, flame, chemical and UV resistance, antistatic capabilities, weatherability, strength and dimensional stability.
