5-Axis Router Line

The DMS model 5MT55T 5-axis CNC router features dual 5’ x 5’ tables, a 48” Z-axis travel and clearance, 11 HP ISO 30 spindle and 12 station servo controlled traveling tool changer. The tool changer has been engineered to provide 10 second tool change cycles. The high flow aluminum vacuum table is operated by table mounted switches and solenoid vacuum valves plumbed to each table. This allows for both flat sheet and machining on fixtures for 3 dimensional parts. The Fagor 8055 controller has 5 MB of RAM and TCP/IP network connection with an additional 1 GB program memory. The remote teach pendant programmer allows part programs to be digitized on the machine from pre existing parts. The directly coupled Caxis features continuous rotation, which provides increased programming efficiency and eliminates wire breakage due to twisting. The DMS 5MT55T has a programmable feedrate of up to 1,700 inches per minute resulting in a significant reduction in part cycle times.
