Fire Rated Metallic Effect
A new Kydex® 110
grade of fire-rated
thermoplastic alloy
for
thermoforming of aircraft
interior components featuring
integral metalliceffect
colors is being
offered by Kleerdex Company, LLC.
The proprietary sheet is offered in thicknesses from .028
to .500 in (0.7mm to 12.7mm) and five metallic-effect colors:
Copper, Bronze, Pearl, Silver and Ductile Gold.
Because the metallic-effect color is integral, the sheet is
said retain its metallic appearance if scratched or gouged.
