Heat Gun Kit

A new plastic welding kit that features a compact and powerful heat gun, polyethylene rod and all the tools needed for repairing canoes and kayaks is being introduced by Malcom Hot Air Systems.

The kit includes all of the tools and materials necessary for repairing canoes and kayaks that are cracked, punctured or have worn bottoms from being dragged over rocks. Featuring a compact 1600 Watt Leister Triac hot air tool with adjustable temperature from 70° to 1400°F and air flow to 8 CFM the kit comes with 4 pounds of assorted plastics welding rod in popular colors.

Supplied with flat, round and triangular plastic welding rod including ABS UC, PC, polyethylene and polypropylene, the kit includes a tacking tip, 5 mm round nozzle, speed welding nozzles, scrapers, pliers, side cutters, a rotary burr for preparing grooves, instructions and a tool box.
