CNC Machining Center
The Chronos is a high performance,
highly flexible machining
center for processing
plastics, fiberglass
reinforced plastics and
composite materials.
Machine bed columns
and front and rear
fixed beams build a single
structure in a closed double ring construction, ensuring
highest rigidity and stability. The robust and accurate
head unit, fitted on the cross bar mobile in X between the
fixed beams, has interpolating 5-axis movement and an
automatic tool changer.
The movement of all axes is guided by high precision cross-section
prismatic ways with recirculating ball slides and an
automatic lubrication system via CNC which is obtained by
“brushless” digital motors on high precision racks.
