Polyimide Stock Shapes

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has just completed a new comprehensive catalog featuring Meldin® Polyimide and High Performance Thermoplastics Materials. Meldin, the most complete range of polyimide and engineered thermoplastic materials available, are offered in custom molded, machined components and stock shapes for machining. Meldin materials retain their critical properties over temperatures ranging from cryogenic through + 600°F (315°C) for continuous operation, and maybe used intermittently up to + 900°F (482°C). Superior strength and rigidity, combined with self-lubricating properties, provide long maintenance-free service for the most demanding bearing and structural applications. This material has many excellent applications for engines, medical devices, aircraft/aerospace power systems, electronics, chemical processing, semiconductor and industrial equipment.
