New High Strength Structural Adhesive
IPS WELD-ONÒ a leading manufacturer of adhesives with a complete line of solvent cements for bonding plastics, introduced WELD-ON® 45 as a high strength structural adhesive. WELD-ONÒ 45 is a two component, versatile adhesive for bonding and fabricating a variety of metals and plastics to themselves and each other. The bonds formed have high impact resistance, a wide temperature range and underwater applications. The adhesive has excellent resistance to corrosion by moisture and has good gap-filling capabilities, weatherability and outstanding impact strength at room, low and high temperatures. Once cured it will withstand a temperature range from -20ºF to 200ºF. The working time is 10 minutes, reaching 80% strength in one hour.

The adhesive is easy to use and comes in 4:1 ratio cartridges. A static mixer is used to eliminate hand mixing. It is available in 50ml and 400ml sizes that can be applied with a MIX-PAC 50 and DM 400 dispensing guns.
