Redesigned MUNSCH Product Line
STANMECH Technologies Inc. announced the launch of the newly redesigned range of Munsch plastic welding hand extruders. "The Munsch extruder line has been completely redesigned with lighter weight, higher output and brushless drive technology. Munsch has developed this leading edge plastic welding technology to meet their customer's demands for increased durability, higher output and improved field performance," stated Paul Subject, President of STANMECH Technologies Inc.

The new models incorporate a completely new, quieter, patented brushless drive technology that dramatically increases the service life of the extruder drive compared to conventional drill drive systems. Each of the models in the new line is lighter in weight and has smaller overall dimensions as compared to conventional extruders with similar output. All models feature a flanged connection between the drive and the extruder that ensures alignment and minimizes excessive bearing stress. The welding rod feed mechanism for all models has been redesigned to provide direct input to the extruder screw, which eliminates feed mechanism overheating. Each of these new models have been built to handle harsh field application conditions where ease of use, speed and quality are critical.
