SLITTER SAVES TIME AND MONEY

Bruin Plastics has installed a precision slitting machine for the plastics industry. They can now slit vinyl-laminated polyester and nylon rolls to almost any width, from less than 1 inch to 85 inches.

Bruin, a 50-year-old family-owned vertical manufacturer, produces laminated and coated roll goods, both solid and mesh, in many weights and almost any color. Their new slitter can be loaded with rolls as they come off the line. Processing time is measured in minutes, not days, so it doesn't delay delivery.

Compared to slitting that is subbed out by either a manufacturer or a distributor, their in-house slitting is both faster and less expensive, saving shipping time and costs.
