GE ACQUIRES NIM PLASTICS

GE Structured Products has acquired the assets of NIM Plastics Corporation, a manufacturer of polycarbonate sheet and film located in Elk Grove Village, IL. Combined with their recent capacity expansions, this acquisition supports GE's commitment to a value-added growth strategy and improved customer service in the plastics shapes industry.

NIM will retain their name and operate as a wholly owned subsidiary under the name GE NIM Plastics. GE NIM will continue to offer NIMpact® products to customers.
