CUSTOM PROFILES AND TUBULAR BAR

The A.L. Hyde Company is now offering custom profiles. Integration of the capabilities of its World Plastic Extruders subsidiary will allow Hyde to service fabricators utilizing custom profiles for assemblies. World Plastic Extruders has manufactured custom profiles since 1947, and can produce profiles and tubes from virtually any resin. Clear products are produced from materials such as polycarbonate, acrylic, Pro vista® and PVC. World also produces extrusions made from engineering materials such as nylon, PBT, Ultem, Radel and PEEK.

Additionally, with the increased capabilities, Hyde is now offering high performance materials in tubular bar for machined parts. Tubular bar can be used to replace solid rod, which results in material and machine time savings for fabricators.

World Plastic Extruders services a variety of industries, including telecommunications, aerospace, medical equipment, and point-of-purchase display. They offer secondary operations and in-house engineering for rapid turnaround.
