Accu-Router, Inc. has formed a marketing alliance with SigmaTEK Corporation to fully promote and support SigmaNest(TM) PC-based automatic nesting software. SigmaNest software is ideally suited for Accu-Router machining of a variety of panel materials, including plastics. Used in tandem, SigmaNest and the Accu-Router provide a host of production advantages.

The combination of the high-speed precision Accu-Router and the SigmaNest package makes for an effective labor and capacity-planning tool. The customer obtains optimal material yield from efficient SigmaNest nests. They offer the exclusive benefit of four different nesting algorithms to provide an optimal solution to the customer. The use of the software eliminates programming as a standalone function. It also eliminates programming mistakes. This is a major benefit during the first year or two of operation.

The software is fully Windows '95, '98, and NT-based, and is very easy to use. The companies have perfected the post processor software to allow machine ready code for immediate production use. The software is configured to integrate with and directly support a user's inventory management system. This includes raw material inventory, control remnant management, and multiple machine assignments.
