R&R Drummond, Inc. announced the release of Snap-It, Version 2.0, Electronic Layout Software for IBM and compatibles. This new program is Windows® based and has automatic layout generation with the ability to manually rearrange the cutting plans.

Key new features include: Automatic and manual layout generation, Click and drag to place or remove pieces, Orientation of pieces vertically or horizontally, and Dragging pieces within or between layouts.

Snap-It is an effective new program that lets you quickly arrange efficient cutting plans with little effort. As you drag a piece onto the layout (specified sheet size) it is shown to scale, so you can see its size and where it can fit in the pattern. Drag near the desired location, release and the piece snaps to the logical position.
