HEAT GUN

A new heat gun tool kit for welding plastics to repair tanks, tarps, liners, and other jobs is being introduced by Malcom Company, Inc.

The kit features a choice of three types of heat guns, a full selection of 7 specialized nozzles, a 1 lb. supply of plastic welding rod, a small solder and shrink sleeve protector, and various tools.

Developed for the maintenance professional, the kit can include an 1800 watt heat gun with dial selectable heat from 200°F to 1000°F and 2-step adjustable air to 19 CFM; a 2000 watt heat gun which is infinitely adjustable with 7 programmable functions over a 175°F to 1200°F range and 19 CFM; or a 2300 watt gun with 11 programmable functions that is infinitely adjustable from 175°F to 1200°F and 21 CFM.
