ELECTRICAL INSULATING SHEET
Glastic Corporation introduced its Thick Sheets™ that combine electrical insulation and strength properties in a single material. These sheets are ideal for applications requiring heavy-duty cable supports such as buss ducts, locomotive components, blocking, severe-duty electrical end caps and platen insulation. They are also appropriate for electrical insulation and strength components in switchgear and transformers.
These sheets are asbestos free and come in standard colors and are available in grades UTR, SG200, Glastherm and TSF. Available in thicknesses ranging up to two inches, they are trimmed to a standard size of three by six feet. Other thicknesses and sizes can be custom made. They can be cut, drilled or routed to meet specific size and assembly requirements.
