PC SOLARGLAZE
DSM Sheffield introduced Hyzod SolarGlaze, an extruded multi-wall, UV resistant, light weight polycarbonate glazing material. The product offers high light transmission with outstanding thermal insulating characteristics and excellent impact strength. With its unique ribbed design, Hyzod SG offers diffused evenly dispersed, high quality light and clarity, providing up to 82% visible light transmission. It is ideally suited for load-bearing applications such as vertical or sloped glazing due to its outstanding stiffness-to-weight ratio. It features a UV surface treatment for superior resistance to long-term weathering that is maintenance free, permanent and backed by a comprehensive 10 year warranty against yellowing and hazing. This multiwall polycarbonate sheet is primarily known for its use in agricultural applications such as greenhouses, atriums, skylights, pool enclosures and bus shelters.
