ULTRASONIC WELDERS
Forward Technology Industries introduces its new line of ultrasonic welders, the Omega III series, which replaces the Omega II series. The re-designed welders offer a modular design, allowing the customer to place both the generator and the controller in various positions on or around the welder. The line consists of three models, the MCA, the MCS and the MCX. Several welding modes are available, including constant time, constant height, constant travel and constant energy. Of the new performance features is the most notable, an expanded Reactive Welding System which supplies the exact amount of ultrasonic energy to finish the weld, regardless of dimensional variations of the part. Other improved features include simplified programming and machine adjustment, larger working area around the application, back-lit display screen, improved amplitude control, and optical encoder. Welding frequencies of 20 kHz and 30 kHz are available with power supplies ranging from 800-3000 watts. Circle No. 97.
