LASER MARKABLE STOCK SHAPES
Pomalux® LM laser markable rod and sheet made from a special Ticona Celcon® Acetal copolymer resin produce parts which can be inscribed with exceptionally clear, consistent and precise laser markings. A software-driven technology, laser marking provides a method for permanently inscribing virtually any pattern -- from bar codes and automatic serialization to company logos and complicated graphic elements. The combination of Pomalux LM and laser marking produces fast, on-line marking cycles, indelibility, enhanced capability to inscribe in recessed or other difficult to access locations. Pomalux LM is available on a custom basis in rod (1/2" to 8"), sheet (.060" to 4"), and film (.002" to .029"). A stocking program has been instituted for 1", 1-1/2", 2" and 2-1/2" diameter rod and 1/2" and 1" sheet. The product is ideal for use in any application requiring clear, indelible markings such as backlight products, printed assemblies and identification/bar coding. Pomalux LM is available in a base color of black. Print colors include crisp white, green, blue, maroon and brown. Additional color options are being developed in both base colors and range of hues for laser inscription.
