HIGH SPEED MACHINING CENTER
IBAG North America will demonstrate a new concept in dedicated high speed machining. Available for a wide range of vertical machining centers, the high speed spindle "package," HF 170.4 ceramic bearing spindle, develops 40 hp (constant) at up to 24,000 rpm. HSK63 tooling and a Vector motor with spindle orientation are standard and through-the-tool coolant is an option. A very high speed control system from Creative Technologies handles long programs for complex 3-D parts. The high speed "packages" are available in an extensive range of hp/rpm configurations that may be installed on new machines or retrofitted.
