SHAFT COLLARS
A new line of one- or two-piece plastic clamp-type shaft collars with stainless steel clamp screws for applications requiring chemical resistance, frequent wash downs, or FDA/USDA approval is being introduced by Stafford Manufacturing Corp. The clamp-type collars are offered in one- and two-piece styles in standard 1/4" through 4" I.D. sizes and larger sizes as specials. Featuring nylon, Teflon(r), and other engineering plastics, they are ideal for applications requiring chemical resistance and frequent wash downs. Collars can be machined from the same material as other components. Typical applications include flow control, semiconductor systems, and all types of mixing equipment and FDA/USDA approved machinery.
