OIL-FILLED NYLON
HYD-CAST OFN (oil-filled nylon) offers improved lubricity and wear resistance over natural and MoS2 filled nylons. This material contains additives which provide continuous self-lubrication, resulting in reduced maintenance costs, improved machinery efficiency, quieter operation, and extended part life. HYD-CAST OFN provides lower moisture absorption, allowing for improved dimensional stability and tighter design tolerances. Unlike others, HYD-CAST OFN complies with FDA regulations 21 CFR 177.1500 for use in direct food contact applications. Standard rod sizes from 2" diameter to 12" with capabilities up to 20" OD are stocked for quick delivery. Slab thicknesses are offered from 1/4" to 4". Tube is available in ODs from 2" to 20" in multiple ID combinations.
