Bondmaster introduced two structural adhesives for acrylic assemblies: Bondmaster® M1305 and Bondmaster® F246. These adhesives are designed to reduce production time and improve aesthetic appearance on the final assembly and replace solvent bonding or mechanical fastening.

F246 is a surface-activated structural acrylic that is used in conjunction with Bondmaster® Initiator #1 or #5. This adhe-sive obtains a fixture time in 30 to 60 seconds and will fully cure in 4 hours. On acrylic-to-acrylic assemblies, F246 achieves a shear strength of 1200 psi (at room temperature, 25°C / 77°F).

M1305 is a fast, room temperature curing 1:1 structural acrylic adhesive with excellent gap filling capabilities. In many cases, M1305 will provide substrate failure before the adhesive itself fails. M1305 has an operating temperature of -85 to 138°C (-65 to 280°F).

For additional information, contact Jason Forman, Bondmaster, 10 Finderne Avenue, Bridgewater, NJ 08807, 800-653-6523 / 908-575-7200, Fax: 908-575- 7203, E-mail: helpline.usa@bondmaster.com, Web: www.bondmaster.com.

Bumper Specialties Inc. introduces their line of self-adhesive polyurethane bumper feet. These bumpers are used on many different types of acrylic products, including acrylic displays, P.O.P. stands and many other acrylic finishing product applications. TSP, Inc. offers a durable Anti-Glare hardcoat for acrylic and polycarbonate substrates that protects and enhances viewing applications when glare makes display readability difficult.

TSP’s DURAVUE® 2000 High Resolution Anti-Glare Hardcoat is unique in its ability to diffuse reflected light with minimal sacrifice to clarity and resolution of the displayed image. The surface quality of DURAVUE 2000 remains perfectly smooth and without the “grainy” appearance that is common in alternatives like textured surfaces or anti-glare coatings that use suspended particulates.

DURAVUE 2000 is available in various gloss levels to match specific viewing requirements and maintains the exceptional scratch and chemical resistance that is the foundation of the DURAVUE line of coatings.

Ideal for full-color and monochrome optoelectronic displays of all types, DURAVUE 2000 can also be applied to colored plastic substrates used for contrast enhancement or other desired effects.
